These Terms govern your use of the Nattangadi mobile app and website (the “Platform”),
operated by Shemrinics Technologies (India) Private Limited
(CIN U74999KL2017PTC051041), registered at AC Estate, SA Road, Vyttila, Ernakulam, Kerala
682019, India (“Nattangadi”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Platform you agree
to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. What Nattangadi is
Nattangadi is a hyperlocal marketplace. We connect people in a locality with the shops,
auto and taxi drivers, goods-vehicle drivers, delivery partners, wedding halls, turf grounds,
workers and other service providers around them.
We are an intermediary. Goods are sold by the shop you order from. Rides and services are
provided by independent drivers and service providers. Nattangadi is not the seller of the goods
and not the provider of the transport or the service. The contract for each order or booking is
between you and that shop, driver or provider. We are responsible for running the Platform fairly
and for verifying providers before they go live.
2. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract in India.
- You register with your mobile number, which is verified by a one-time password, and you set a
4-digit MPIN. Keep your MPIN secret. Nattangadi staff will never ask you for your MPIN or
OTP.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account. Tell us immediately if you think
someone else has access to it.
- Give accurate information. Shops, drivers and service providers must submit genuine
verification documents; we may refuse, suspend or remove any account that provides false
information.
3. Orders, bookings and prices
- Prices of goods are set by each shop. Rents and rates for halls, grounds and services are set
by each provider. Ride fares follow the metered rates published on our
pricing page and shown in the app.
- Every amount is shown to you before you confirm. Taxes, where applicable, are shown
separately.
- An order is a request until the shop accepts it. A hall or ground booking is confirmed only
when the advance set by that venue is paid.
- A shop may be unable to fulfil an order (item out of stock, shop closed). In that case the
order is cancelled and any amount paid is refunded — see our
Cancellation & Refund Policy.
4. Payments
- Most payments are made by you directly to the shop, driver or provider by UPI, or in
cash on delivery where the shop allows it.
- Where a payment is collected through our payment gateway, it is processed by an RBI-authorised
payment partner. We do not store your card numbers or banking passwords.
- Nattangadi does not charge customers a platform or convenience fee. We may charge shops,
drivers and providers a commission on completed transactions.
- If you owe a settled amount to a driver or provider (for example a cancellation charge after a
vehicle has set off), the Platform may ask you to clear it before you make a new booking.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation rights, charges and refund timelines are set out in our
Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Delivery arrangements are set out in our
Shipping & Delivery Policy.
6. Your conduct
- Do not use the Platform for anything unlawful, or to buy or sell anything prohibited by Indian
law, including alcohol, tobacco to minors, drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods or wildlife
products.
- Do not place false or malicious orders or bookings, misuse another person's number, harass
drivers, shopkeepers, workers or delivery partners, or post abusive or misleading content,
ratings or reviews.
- Do not attempt to break, probe, overload or reverse-engineer the Platform, or to access data
that is not yours.
- Repeated cancellations, unpaid dues or abusive behaviour may lower your rating and may lead to
restriction or suspension of your account.
7. Obligations of shops, drivers and providers
- List only goods and services you are lawfully entitled to sell or provide, with honest
descriptions, prices and photographs.
- Hold and keep valid every licence, registration, permit or insurance required for your trade
or vehicle, and comply with all applicable law, including RTO rules and food safety rules.
- Honour accepted orders and confirmed bookings, charge only the amounts shown, and issue a bill
where the law requires one.
- You are solely responsible for the quality, safety and legality of what you sell or provide.
You agree to indemnify Nattangadi against claims arising from your goods or services.
8. Ratings and content
You may rate and review a provider after a completed order or trip. Reviews must be honest and
about your own experience. We may remove content that is abusive, false, unlawful or a
violation of someone's privacy. You keep ownership of the content you upload and grant us a
licence to display it on the Platform.
9. Location, notifications and calls
Location-based features need your permission to use your device location. During an active ride
or delivery, the live location of the assigned driver is shared with the other party so the trip
can be completed. Calls placed through the app connect to the mobile network. See our
Privacy Policy for details.
10. Our liability
- The Platform is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not guarantee that a provider will always
be available or that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- We are not liable for the acts, omissions, quality or conduct of any shop, driver, delivery
partner, venue or service provider, nor for loss caused by events outside our reasonable
control.
- To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a transaction is
limited to the commission we earned on that transaction.
- Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including
under consumer protection law.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Platform and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or
terminate an account that breaches these Terms, that is used fraudulently, or where required by
law. Amounts you owe survive termination.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version is published on this page with
a new “last updated” date. Continuing to use the Platform after a change means you accept it.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any right you have under consumer
protection law to approach a forum near you, the courts at Ernakulam, Kerala have jurisdiction.
Please write to us first — most matters are settled quickly.
